Switch extender PoE gigabit ATTE APT-5-50 (5xRJ45, 802.3bt, 10/100/1000 Mbps)

The APT-5-50 is a gigabit PoE network switch that acts as an extender (repeater) of the LAN and PoE power supply. It is most often used in situations where several network devices (e.g. several IP cameras) need to be connected on a single UTP cable, or where an additional network branch is required. The device provides compatibility with IEEE 802.3af/at/bt standards as PoE receivers and IEEE 802.3af/at/bt on all output ports.Key features:can be powered from another PoE switch using 802.3af, 802.3at, 802.3bt60, 802.3bt90 or PoE Passive (PoE IN port)reinforces and distributes the network signal (full-featured 1000 Mbps switch)cascade power supply (one switch powers another)up to 4 PoE 802.3af/at/bt60 receivers can be poweredup to 90 W total power when powered from UTP1,000 Mbps throughputclear indication of operating status and identificationeasy and quick start-up without configuring parameterswide operating temperature rangePrimary uses:as a splitter for 4 PoE receivers (IP cameras) supplied from a single UTP cable, e.g. installation of additional cameras in place of the existing ones without changing the cablingas a cascade (serial) connection for connecting several PoE IP devices over distances exceeding 100 m UTPpossibility of local power supply allows the construction of a complex structure of distribution points in extensive installationsThe switch can be powered by an external power supply via a screw connector. In this case, LAN port 1 functions as a network port only (without PoE power supply function).
