The Hikvision iDS-7208HUHI-M1/X is an 8-channel, multi-system recorder capable of recording footage from HD-TVI, AHD, CVBS and IP cameras. Key features:Recording of HD-TVI signals at a resolution of 8 Mpix at 8 fps, 5 Mpix (3K) at 12 fps, 4 Mpix at 15 fps, 1080p and lower at 25 fpssupport for 8 analogue channels + 8 IP channels (up to 8 Mpix) – support for HD-TVI, AHD and CVBS cameras, as well as Hikvision network cameras and those from other ONVIF-compliant manufacturersoption to replace analogue channels with IP channels on a 1:1 basis (up to 16 IP cameras, each with a resolution of up to 8 MP)AI functions: Motion Detection 2.0 (8 channels) or Perimeter Protection (8 channels) or Face Recognition (4 channels)AcuSense – alarm filtering with human/vehicle classificationImage decoding for up to 24 1080p channels at 25 fpsH.265+/H.265/H.264+/H.264 encodingSupport for the HikConnect cloudAI functionsThe DVR can perform the following AI functions: motion detection 2.0 (8 channels) or perimeter protection (8 channels) or face detection and recognition (4 channels).Motion detection 2.0Motion Detection System 2.0 can analyze motion detection events for human or vehicle detection. Thanks to that, alarm notifications are filtered and unnecessary alarms are blocked.Face recognitionThe DVR has a function to capture and analyze faces on a certain number of channels. It is possible to create libraries of faces that will later be used to search the recordings. Related actions can also be specified that will be executed in case of a correct or incorrect comparison between a detected face and a face that is in the library, such as triggering a beep in the recorder, an alarm in the monitoring center, sending an e-mail, controlling an alarm output etc. Faces, already recorded on the DVR or from an external source, can be added to the library. Recordings stored on the DVR, can be easily and quickly searched after pointing to a specific face, on channels on which the face recording and comparison function was active.Artificial intelligence AI and AcuSense technologyArtificial intelligence plays a key role in CCTV systems. Cameras and recorders with AcuSense technology analyze the image based on a deep learning algorithm. They reflect the structure and principles of the human brain. As in the brain, learning creates connections between artificial neurons (programs) and creates a multi-layer artificial neural network. The algorithm individually analyzes model photos and recordings, looking for common features, and then creates appropriate connections. The so-called layers, responsible for detecting a specific feature, are built this way. The more layers an algorithm has, the more accurate the analysis is. Therefore, teaching with large amounts of data is crucial. Only multi-layer networks can collect information and perform appropriate actions, in particular automatic extraction and representation of features (patterns) present in the data, teaching the network for example to recognize faces, vehicle brands, animal species or incident, e.g. a fall. This model of DVR has 8 channels with AcuSense function. On eight analog channels, it is possible to run virtual line crossing detection (together with line crossing direction determination) and intrusion detection in a quadrant area. Events can be filtered for human or vehicle detection.H.265 / H.265 video compressionThe DVR can record one or two video streams (primary and/or secondary) from each channel. The video can be compressed using the H.265 method. Compared with its predecessor (H.264), H.265 can reduce the data stream by half, which translates into proportional disk space savings and extended data retention time. H.265+ can further minimize the streams in typical video surveillance scenarios.Sophisticated client softwareClient software iVMS-4200 is used to view, supervise and configure Hikvision analog DVRs, network DVRs and IP cameras (it allows you to create a hybrid system) via the network. The application allows you to manage up to 256 devices on up to 4 monitors. One screen can display images from up to 64 cameras. In addition to viewing and configuration, it allows, among other things, remote playback of recordings, display of alarm messages, two-way audio transmission, use of multi-level e-maps for viewing. The control panel of the iVMS-4200 applicationHik-Connect is a mobile application designed for cell phones based on Android and iOS operating systems. It can be used to remotely view live video from DVRs, NVRs, network cameras using the Wi-Fi, 2G or 3G and also to view recordings stored on the DVR. The application allows connectivity via IP addresses and via P2P cloud. The start menu of the Hik-Connect app with a live view thumbnailThe live view screenWorking in the cloudHik-Connect is a network service designed for Hikvison devices.
