The Hikvision DS-2CD2646G2H-IZS tubular camera is part of the second generation of cameras based on AcuSense technology, which offers even greater effectiveness in filtering out false alarms. It is designed for use in surveillance systems based on IP recorders. The camera is fitted with a 1/3" CMOS sensor with a resolution of 4 Mpix and an infrared illuminator with a range of up to 60 m, ensuring clear visibility in low-light conditions. It features a 2.8–12 mm variable focal length Motozoom lens, allowing remote adjustment of the field of view within the range of 105.4–19.3°. The lens focus is adjusted automatically when the focal length is changed. Support for both older and the latest H.265(+) compression methods allows for extended recording retention times whilst maintaining excellent image quality and ensuring backwards compatibility. Additional features designed to enhance image quality, such as AGC, 3D-DNR, WDR (120 dB), BLC, HLC and built-in video analytics (VCA), enable the camera to be used for more advanced projects. The high-grade IP67 weatherproof housing protects the electronics from adverse weather conditions.
