Protect 316 M80316 is a four-channel mobile recorder designed for use in coaches, public transport, company and passenger vehicles, and special vehicles, such as trucks, police cars, prison or military vehicles, and ambulances. Its design provides increased resistance to vibrations and shocks.The recorder is designed for installation inside the vehicle cabin, for example under the seat, in the compartment or in the trunk. The power cables are connected to the battery and ignition (similarly to the radio), which allows the device to automatically start audio-video recording after turning the key in the ignition. The power supply system is protected by a 5 A fuse, which protects against excessive current consumption and burnout of the electrical system in the event of a failure. By default, the recorder works until the power is disconnected by the ignition key, unless the delayed shutdown function is activated (operation for a specified time after switching off) or work according to a schedule. Additionally, the recorder has its own power backup, which allows it to work for about 8 seconds after the power is disconnected to safely save all data.Diagram of the plug for connecting camerasProtect 316 has 4 video inputs equipped with M12 connectors. The set includes adapters with a BNC socket (video), a 2.1/5.5 plug (power) and an RCA socket (audio). Connecting the cameras to the M12 connector allows for quick and safe connection of the video signal and powering the cameras directly from the recorder. Simply connect the recorder to the vehicle's power supply to ensure the operation of the recorder and cameras. The recorder allows for recording images from 4 channels simultaneously at 25 fps for 1080p resolution or lower. The video quality allows for trouble-free recognition of the road situation, people's behavior, and even faces and license plate numbers. The device can detect collisions, hard braking, acceleration or taking corners too fast.H.265 compressionThe recorder supports H.265 encoding, which, compared to its predecessor (H.264), allows to reduce the data stream and the demand for disk capacity by half. This allows to use data carriers with half the capacity or store recordings twice as long.Data archivingThe device has 2 slots for SD cards with a capacity of up to 512 GB each. Access to the media is secured with a lockable latch, which ensures that only an authorized person has access to the cards. The overwrite option allows for maintenance-free operation of the device - when the cards are full, the newest recordings replace the oldest ones, which eliminates the need to delete recordings or format cards after they are full. Recordings are collected together with GPS data, acceleration and alarm inputs in the device's own format. To play back recordings, the IVMSPlayer software is required. In addition to searching and playing back recordings from cameras, the software has functions that allow to use the additional capabilities of the recorder - it offers, among others, the ability to generate a graph of alarm input activation on the time axis or the vehicle's position based on saved GPS coordinates.Integration with vehicle sensorsAlarm inputs can monitor car devices connected to the electrical system. These can be: engaging reverse gear, opening the fuel filler cap, closing doors, fastening seat belts, opening the cargo area, pressing the brake, turning on the indicators, etc. Activation of the input can be linked to an a
