The Protect 308 M80308 is a four-channel mobile recorder designed for use in coaches, public transportation, company and passenger vehicles and special vehicles, i.e. trucks, police cars, prison or military vehicles and ambulances. It has been specifically designed to provide increased resistance to vibration and shock.The recorder is designed for installation inside the vehicle cabin, for example under the seat, in the compartment or in the trunk. The power cables are connected to the battery and ignition (similarly to the radio), which allows the device to automatically start audio-video recording after turning the key in the ignition. The power supply system is protected by a 5 A fuse, which protects against excessive current consumption and burnout of the electrical system in the event of a failure. By default, the recorder works until the power is disconnected by the ignition key, unless the delayed shutdown function is activated (operation for a specified time after switching off) or work according to a schedule. This allows you to use storage media with half the capacity or store recordings twice as long.Data archivingThe device has 2 slots for SD cards with a capacity of up to 512 GB each. Access to the media is secured with a lockable latch, which ensures that only an authorized person has access to the cards. The overwrite option allows for maintenance-free operation of the device - when the cards are full, the newest recordings replace the oldest ones, which eliminates the need to delete recordings or format cards after they are full. Recordings are collected together with GPS data, acceleration and alarm inputs in the device's own format. To play back recordings, the IVMSPlayer software is required. In addition to searching and playing back recordings from cameras, the software has functions that allow to use the additional capabilities of the recorder - it offers, among others, the ability to generate a graph of alarm input activation on the time axis or the vehicle's position based on saved GPS coordinates.Integration with vehicle sensorsThe alarm inputs can monitor the vehicle devices plugged into the electrical system.
