The DS-2TD1228-2/QA(BLACK) is an IP bispectral camera from Hikvision's HeatPro series, which combines the benefits of traditional and thermal surveillance. It is equipped with two sensors, the first, a visible light CMOS sensor with a resolution of 2688 x 1520 px and the second, a thermal imager with a resolution of 256 x 192 px. The camera enables the creation of image fusion, a combination of visible and thermal images, so that the resulting thermal image is of good quality. The VCA analytics, which operates on the basis of the built-in GPU graphics processor and deep learning algorithm, allows for effective intruder detection and a reduction in false alarms. The Temperature measurement and fire detection allow it to be used for more advanced projects. The camera is equipped with a microSD card slot allowing the use of cards up to 256GB. The IP66 high-tightness housing ensures that the electronics are protected from adverse weather conditions. The camera can be powered by conventional DC 12 V or by PoE (802.3af compliance).Note that the current version of the software is available at link.Key features:bispectral camera: thermal imager and visible light sensor in a single housing{ thermal imaging module resolution: 256 x 192 pxfocal length: 2.1 mmimage sensor resolution: 2688 x 1520 pxfocal length: 2.2 mmimage fusion: superimposition of thermal and visible light imagesintelligent VCA analysis based on object classification (line crossing, intrusion, zone entry and exit)+++temperature measurementfire detectionkompresja H.265/H.264/MJPEGuniform night-time illumination through EXIR 2.0 technology: IR up to 15 msupported microSD cards up to 256 GB.image features: 3D-DNR, WDR (120 dB)thermal image processing: AGC, DDE, 3D-DNR, NETD < 40 mK (25°) @ F1.0two-stream supportadditional connectors: alarm I/O, audiofunkcja ANRapplication for PC iVMS-4200 and smartphone Hik-Connect (Android, iOS)cloud access P2Pprotection level: IP66power supply DC 12 V or PoE (802.3af)Detection rangesThe following tables illustrate the detection ranges with the smart function and the ranges of detection, recognition and identification of a person or vehicle. This combination allows it to be used effectively and to minimise false alarms. Four types of analysis are available - line crossing, intrusion detection, zone entry and zone exit detection. A maximum of 8 rules can be run at the same time. Temperature measurement is possible from -20°C to 150°C with an accuracy of +/-8°C. There are 3 measurement types available - point, area, line. A maximum of 21 rules can be set, consisting of 10 points, 10 areas and 1 line. In the case of fire detection, up to 10 points of its source can be dynamically detected.Principle of operation and advantages of thermal imagingA thermal imaging camera is the perfect complement to video surveillance operating in visible light and reflected infrared. Analogue or IP cameras used in surveillance enable people to be correctly identified and recognised during the day and at night when an infrared illuminator is used. A thermal imaging camera does not need any illumination to work properly. Its operating principle is completely different from that of conventional cameras. Any body with a temperature above absolute zero (0 K = -273.15 °C) emits infrared radiation. Due to the existing relationship between temperature and radiation intensity, the thermal imaging camera receives infrared waves and calculates the temperature value based on their length. Using a thermal imaging camera, the temperature distribution on the surface of the body under examination can be seen and the temperature values measured.Examples of application of thermal imagingdetection of intruders even in bad weather conditions (snow, rain, fog)power plants (hot wires, bad contacts, overloaded fuses, transformers)fill level of tanks (based on temperature distribution)mechanics (detection of the most overloaded components)circuit protection using VCAssupporting traditional monitoringlandfill sitesborder crossingsprison facilitiesfactoriesfire detectionwarehouses, railway stations, etc.H.265 compressionA very important parameter indicating the sophistication of the device is the compressi
